Adidas Ethos: sports and fashion

Adidas Ethos: sports and fashion

On December 23, 2021 by Admin

Adidas is one of the most famous brands in the world. Indeed, they enjoy a global reputation, with outlets in all corners of the globe. Their popularity as a brand is not surprising, they have a unique ability to create comfortable sportswear, increase performance, protect athletes from overexertion, but with the added bonus that their clothes are also fashionable. This gives them a much wider appeal than just the sports community, their popularity reaching a much wider audience.

Many athletes prefer the Adidas brand; you just need to look at their promotional projects to see that even the top athletes support the Adidas brand. In part, this is because Adidas celebrates the sport, and athletes, for example, pay tribute to their favorite athletes by designing clothing lines named after some of the world’s greatest athletes. For example, the Adidas Beckenbauer sports top is a tribute to the incredible German footballer Franz Beckenbauer, who participated in three World Cups: 1966, 1970 and 1974.

These individuals would not support these products if they did not meet the highest technical specifications, which certainly makes the Adidas brand. Adi Dassler created the Adidas brand in the 1920s (though only in 1948 did he choose Adidas as the company name). His vision was to create a line of sports shoes that would protect the player from injuries and stress inherent in professional sports, which meant creating shoes that would protect the ankles, provide suspension, have a strong outer shell, but also be pliable and allow freedom of movement. His vision is still at the heart of the Adidas brand, and we see it in all the product lines the company produces.

Over the past two decades, Adidas has expanded its vision; they wanted to create sportswear that would be fashionable and liked by a much wider audience. Adidas Originals was born from this extension. Given the popularity of the retro fashion scene, Adidas has started releasing lines that have long since stopped production. The Adidas Beckenbauer sports top is a great example; first released in 1982, it is now back and is a favorite among many fashionable people.

Urban fashion lovers love the Adidas Originals fashion line, which the hip-hop and British pop communities find particularly appealing. Among the Adidas fashion range there are many accessories that meet fashion tastes rather than sports requirements: retro handbags, digital watches, socks, handbags; they are all available in the Adidas Originals range.

In addition to the fact that Adidas has expanded its sporting appeal, it has not only become fashionable, but also now serves a much wider range of athletes. Skateboarders, skaters, skaters, bowlers and javelin throwers can find sports accessories from the Adidas brand.
